The Humanitarian Emergency Response Program is structured under the Program Management Department and lead by the program director and the management director. Our activities and services are designed and determined based to the organization capacities, government policies, accessibilities and needs on the ground with special focus on the donor interest and requirements.
The WRDOAW will works on building emergency shelters, permanent shelters, transitional shelters, NFI provisions and quick assistance of health and referral systems, capacity building and protection of all rights of the affected populations either disaster calamities or manmade crises – conflicts.
In 2004s, the WRDOAW delivered the health and referral system assistance project to the 3,138 direct beneficiaries including 1,110 conflict affected IDPs of Qaisar district of Faryab province. The project managed with the nine staffs including 4 technical – professionals of health for the 6 calendar months. The project audited grants were $ 82,145 USD with $ 82,145 USD contribution of United Nation Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs – Emergency Response Fund [UNOCHA – ERF].
